CONVERTING GREETING CARDS INTO EXPERIENCES
This is a product that integrates the immense multimedia capacity of compact media storage devices with greeting cards: A traditional greeting card is transformed to accept a case designed, in turn, to accept a CD/DVD and/or a flash drive. In this manner, the recipient of the card not only receives the physical card and its handwritten message but also receives multimedia content that further enhances the message of the card. This makes for a richer, more meaningful, and multi-sensory experience around the sentiment conveyed in the card.
A PERSONAL TOUCH:
From the Signature to the customized digital content
Heartfelt greetings and captured memories
Consider Jane’s close friend Nicole who is celebrating her 25th wedding anniversary. So, Jane gifts a greeting card to Nicole that, aside from the usual design, pre-written message, and a note handwritten by Jane, also includes a flash drive. Having been a friend throughout Nicole’s marriage, Jane has amassed an impressive collection of photos and video clips of Nicole, Nicole’s husband, and the couple’s three kids. Moreover, Jane also happens to know that Nicole’s favorite musical artist is Michael Jackson. So, she creates a slide presentation/video of her best photos and clips set to the music of The Jackson Five and Michael Jackson and then saves it in the enclosed flash drive.
A gift to be savored forever
It’s been over a year since Mary has seen her daughter Jane and her three grandchildren. Mary has retired to Florida while Jane’s family still live in faraway Idaho. So, now that her mother’s birthday is coming up, Jane purchases a nice “Happy Birthday, Mom” greeting card. Thanks to Aniban’s invention, Jane converts the card into a conveyance for a flash drive that is loaded full of the multimedia content that grandma Mary would love to see – including video footage of her grandchildren’s Christmas plays, sports events, and Jane, her husband, and the three grandkids all singing Happy Birthday to Mary. Unlike most other greeting cards that usually find their way to the garbage, Mary will hold on this one, along with the precious flash drive of memories inside, forever.
